At Harcrest Homes we take great pride in building one of the most important investments you will ever make. With your input, we can create a unique, well-built home that includes all the features and details that make it “yours.” At our initial meeting we will discuss all your dreams for your custom home as well as budget.
Step 1
Design
This is when our experience in home design and build comes together with your dreams. Our team will walk your property or help you find property that will suit your needs. We will design a site plan to help you visualize how your home will fit on your homesite w, considering factors like land topography, sewer and septic availability and how your home will be positioned to maximize any lake or mountain views. You can explore our portfolio of many stunning floor plans. These plans serve as a springboard for your creativity-we’re happy to customize any plan or create a home from scratch based on your unique needs and preferences. Perhaps you already have a favorite plan you’d like to use. We welcome the opportunity to collaborate and bring your dreams to life.
Step 2
Contract
At Harcrest Homes, we understand that accountability and predictability are paramount during the construction process. That’s why we offer fixed-price contracts. Unlike cost-plus builders, you won’t face unexpected charges. We pride ourselves on providing up-front pricing to clients, ensuring you know exactly what to expect. However, if you choose to make customizations after the contract is finalized, we’ll work openly with you to adjust the budget accordingly.
Step 3
Refine
When the home design is finalized and the contract is written, our interior designer will assist you to make selections for your entire custom home. This includes selections of cabinets, countertops, tile, flooring, and paint inside as well as all exterior materials. As you are meeting you may decide to make some minor changes to your home design. These upgrades will be added to your contract price.
Step 4
Build
Time to sit back and watch your dream become reality. Our team will meet with you during preconstruction , pre sheetrock and orientation, as well as anytime you would like to meet.
